Join us for a week-long bike & barge trip with your friends in “wine country.” This region is best known for Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé wines as well as medieval castles and incredible palaces. This is a casual trip.  We’ll have a multilingual guide.  If you want to take a day off and stay on the barge that’s okay too. Daily mileage will range from 16 - 31 miles. If you are not a regular cyclist, no problem, you have the option of renting an ebike. Wait there’s more, we’re basically riding downhill, that is, downstream parallel to the river. The Loire flows north and west and is the longest river in France. It winds its way from the volcanic Massif Central all the way to the Atlantic.

Average daily riding distance: 25 miles. No problem, you can do this. We have hybrid 24-speed comfort bikes as well as electric bikes!
